  • Assess whether the provider charges an exit price.
  • The provider may inquire whether you want to hire them for your next property. Usually, it’s essential to avoid making the decision right away.

During the House Move

The moving day is tiring. We recommend having arranged your service switch before the move day so you can focus on deciding where boxes go and being much more relaxed when receiving your new bills. It would help if you did the following:

  • Take the final water, electricity, and gas meter reading during your last day in the building.
  • We can then notify the provider of the readings and keep them to compare them with the final bill.

After Moving

Now that you have relocated to the new house, you need to accomplish the following:

  • Take a note of the meter readings of the new house as soon as possible.
  • We’ll then contact the new supplier and notify them of your relocation. We need to provide them with these initial readings, so you don’t receive unwanted bills.
  • Remember you will be accountable for all readings that happen once you occupy the property.
